🏆 SPECTACULAR VICTORY JO9 VV NIEUW LEKKERLAND IN THE RIJNMOND CUP

Under a breathtaking evening sky, with the floodlights shining like stars above the pitch, JO-9 from VV Nieuw Lekkerland made history at the Rijnmond Cup. In their characteristic black and white uniforms, RVV COAL was defeated 2-3 after extra time!


The tension on the artificial pitch was palpable from the very first minute. RVV COAL opened the scoring, but our young heroes were not discouraged. They fought their way back into the game with technically flawless football and inexhaustible energy.


The equaliser came after a nice combination, but COAL took the lead again. With just a few minutes left in normal time, our team showed character.


A dream shot made it 2:2, which meant that extra time was necessary. In extra time, the Lekkerland warriors in black and white dominated .


The winning goal, a brilliant strike from Annas, triggered a cry of joy from the players, coaches and the fans travelling with them.


This victory proves once again that the VV Nieuw Lekkerland youth academy is in full development. The beaming faces in the team photo tell the story of an unforgettable evening in which sporting spirit, team spirit and perseverance were rewarded with a place in the next round.
